Love INC of Greater Hershey is excited to kick off our 13th Annual Lace Up with Love INC Sneaker Drive and Distribution on Monday, June 1, 2026.
For the 13th year in a row, Love INC’s network of twenty-one area churches, Roots Financial Group with Thrivent, alongside caring members of our community are coming together to offer school-aged students in need a brand-new pair of name-brand sneakers. Last year, we collected and distributed over 400 pairs of sneakers!
Drive Information
When?
The Drive kicks off on Sunday, June 1 and runs through Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
Who will be offered sneakers?
School-aged students in need residing in Derry Township and Lower Dauphin school districts. Love INC volunteers will fit each student for a pair of sneakers at the Distribution in August (see details below).
Where should I drop off sneakers?
Sneakers may delivered to any of these locations

> Adidas, Tanger Outlets, Hershey
> Trinity United Methodist Church, 210 W. Main St., Hummelstown
What sizes and quantities are needed?
We project a need for 300+ pairs of newly purchased sneakers to outfit both girls and boys in sizes ranging from Youth 11 to Adult 17. Click below of the latest list of sizes and quantities needed.
No time to shop?
Consider offering a monetary gift to Love INC here. Monetary gifts may be specifically earmarked for the purchase of sneakers or may be offered as general support for our ongoing programs which serve people in Hershey, Hummelstown, and the Dauphin County area of Elizabethtown.
Distribution Information
When?
Sneakers will be distributed to school-aged students in need residing in Derry Township and Lower Dauphin school districts by appointment only during the Main Event: Thursday, August 6 – Saturday, August 8. Select dates will be available until August 19 for students unable to attend the Main Event.
How do I schedule my student(s) to receive a pair of sneakers?
Scheduling will open July. We will update this page when we open registration. Until then, mark your calendar to come back here or call the office to schedule in July.
IMPORTANT! Pre-registration is required before scheduling a distribution appointment. Check with your child’s guidance counselor, the district social worker, or the Love INC Office to register for this year’s event.
Volunteer Information
How else can I help with the Drive and/or the Distribution?
Over 50 volunteers come together between July and August to
- organize sneakers
- schedule appointments
- make reminder phone calls
- check in student families
- fit students to their respective sneakers
- manage the stock room, and more
As we strive to preserve the dignity of our school-aged recipients, minor children are welcome to serve organizing sneakers and in the Sneaker Closet during distribution helping to select sneakers for recipients. Volunteers that are no longer in high school are welcome to serve in all capacities.
